For use in harsh environments and/or tight spaces where accuracy is essential, the MSK320 magnetic sensor is used with magnetic stripe encoder and is insensitive to dust, oil, humidity, etc.

MSK320 Magnetic Position Sensor

Information gathered on a magnetic tape is translated by sensors and transferred to a downstream electronics unit. Values measured by active sensors are converted into digital counting pulses, analog sine-cosine signals or serial absolute values. For passive sensors, combination with a display or translation module is required. Compact sensor, incremental, digital interface, resolution 25 microns

  • Repeat accuracy ±0.04 mm
  • reading distance under 2 mm
  • Used in combination with MB320 Magnetic tape encoder, MR320 or MB320 Magnetic ring encoder

Profile MSK320 Rotary:

  • max. resolution 0.018° with MR320 and MBR320 (250 poles)
  • Repeat accuracy of ±1 increment
  • reading distance under 2 mm
  • Max. 5000 pulses/revolution with MR320 and MBR320 (250 poles)
  • Used in combination with MR320 or MB320 Magnetic ring encoder
